Eta Phi's 10th Anniversary

The Eta Phi chapter at American University is preparing to celebrate its 10th Anniversary this November 7-9, 2008 with a full weekend of events. The weekend will consist of numerous service projects, fellowship events, and a combined banquet dinner & dance as its marquee event. The celebration will be held at the Doubletree Hotel in Crystal City, just outside of Washington, DC. 

Alumni spanning the decade of Eta Phi’s existence and from around the world are expected to converge on D.C. during the weekend to reminisce about and celebrate their time as active brothers in Eta Phi. The alumni are also looking forward to the event as a real catalyst for their Alumni Association’s (APOAUAA) continued growth and maturation as an independent and vibrant organization. 

Eta Phi has grown in size and energy extraordinarily fast since its re-chartering ten years ago. Today, Eta Phi numbers over 100 active brothers and continually increases its service to AU’s campus and the greater DC metro area every year. 

The amount of service that Eta Phi participates in now is truly a testament to the years of hard work and dedication displayed by all of the alumni brothers who have helped build the chapter into what it is today. Commemorating that history and those brothers, who came before them, perhaps more than anything else, is the true reason for the celebration that will occur this fall for Eta Phi.
