Membership in APOAUAA
Membership in the Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Association (APOAUAA) is open to all former active, advisory or honorary members of the Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity that are registered alumni of the Eta Phi chapter at American University and pay annual APOAUAA membership dues.
Membership dues must be paid annually in order to be recognized as an active member of the APOAUAA.Per Article VII, Section I of the APOAUAA amendeded bylaws, dues are set at $20/year for 2009 and 2010. For 2009, dues must be paid by July 1, 2009 and 2010 dues must be by December 1, 2009 in order to comply with the APO National Office alumni association renewal time line and process.
Dues assist in covering costs of events, management of the association (including National Office dues, finances and website), awards and shared programming with Eta Phi. In the future, we hope to provide gifts to the graduating seniors of Eta Phi, their APO graduation cords, and to provide scholarships to actives for academic, service and leadership initiatives.
